First dynamic websites 2002
One of our favourite, Maribor Fox, presented herself to the wide world in 2002 in her den. We made it on the official tourist website of the city of Maribor. The excellent website design has contributed to the visit of many tourists to our stunning Styrian capital.
Upgrading Web Pages 2007
We have successfully upgraded our cooperation with the Institute of Tourism over the years and have learned a lot about online communication in tourism. In 2006 and 2007, we successfully completed the first major update. This was primarily aimed at integrating external solutions, such as a system of events, a reservation system and similar.
Upgrading Web Pages 2014
In 2014, the website was upgraded more seriously and made more user-friendly for mobile devices and different screens (responsive design, or responsiveness). We added a number of modern scripts and solutions and at the same time set up the connection with the ARtour mobile guide.
More than just making web pages
Maintaining content database - for visible ranking in search engines
We have been cooperating with the Maribor Tourist Board since 2002, and in this time we have ensured that over 4000 content sub-pages have been preserved and upgraded, which still fill the indexes of search engines today. No data and no sites were deleted during updates. Thus, today the site is highly ranked on a number of keywords that tourists are looking for in a city or country.
A maintained photo database - to create an impression
Photos are one of the key marketing resources. Especially in tourism. For this reason, we started in 2004 with a careful work with a photo database, which now contains over 3.000 photos, marked with meta data about content, authors and geographic location.
Web communications management
Due to the rapid development of the web, we started with the web communication management for the Maribor Tourist Board. So now we do not only help in technical and design development anymore. Starting in 2014, we began to intensify the content marketing and marketing development of online communications, with the clear aim of bringing more tourists to the tourist destination.
