A corporate image of the 1st Congress
of Railway Infrastructure Managers' congress in Slovenia
Core message
The communication image is based on the main contents incorporated
in the vision and mission of the congress. The objectives
of the congress are the following:
- to develop a railway infrastructure management system,
comparable to the ones on a European level
- to introduce the role and importance of rail infrastructure
managers to the expert public
- to exchange experience in rail infrastructure management
This is the true aim of the congress, which will surely contribute
to the pursuit of these objectives. This fact enables us to
widen the scope of our vision: we wish to expand the nature
of this confereqnce and design an event to be organised on
a regular basis. Events of this kind can perfectly combine
the need to bring infrastructure managers together and set
common standards in this field.
With the corporate communication image of the congress we
wish to convey the following essential message:
- Slovenia, alongside other European countries, is developing
the notion of rail infrastructure managers
- rail infrastructure management is part of the future
of transport
- infrastructure management is becoming a separate branch,
different from transport operation, though still pursuing
partnership with different haulage firms. The need for partnership
is increasing, not decreasing.
Logotype
A logotype in line with the core message and comprising three
entities has been designed:
- graphic image representing management – with different
partners. The central position of the manager represents
relationships with partners, enabling equal and best possible
communication with each of them;
- The name is an acronym: Railway Infrastructure Managers’
Congress. The name existing of rails is a symbol of connection
– connection between managers. Only such ‘connections’ can
ensure the future development of infrastructure and thus
the entire railway transport;
- The year of the congress is placed on the rails, leading
to the future. Individual digits represent different haulage
firms, using rail of the infrastructure manager. Nevertheless
they are physically separated from the rails, though still
on the rails and thus partners of the infrastructure manager.
Slogan
The topics of the congress as well as its organisational
set-up is designed to establish a co-operation between managers,
share experiences and consequently build and develop new standards
in accordance with EU legislation. For the very same reason
the congress becomes even more important and is sure to become
part of a complex system, representing the future of railway
transport.
The congress is based on topics dealing with the essential
objective of the congress, dealing with EU legislation and
the visions of individual countries as far as railway infrastructure
is concerned. Bearing this in mind, we designed a slogan (experience
new railways) with two main aims:
- to represent the objective of the congress, i.e. the
vision of development and innovative solutions
- to represent the establishment of »new railways«, introduced
by the infrastructure managers
Other elements
Other elements of the corporate communication image are an
integral part of the events and other communications planned
